We are not able to accept gifts such as:

  • Perishable food
  • Medication
  • Used undergarments
  • Artwork
  • Medical Aids (canes, walkers, wheelchairs)

Senior Community Centers gratefully accepts in-kind donations of certain goods and services. Please see our acceptance policy below. Please print and fill out the In-Kind donation form and bring it with you when you drop off your donation. Written acknowledgement of receipt of gift will be provided to all donors in a timely manner.

Acceptance Policy
All in-kind donations should be delivered to the Broadway Center at 928 Broadway between 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Monday thru Saturday. We are sorry that due to staffing levels, donations are NOT accepted at any of our other locations.

Items that we are not able to accept may be donated to the Windmill Thrift Shops. All proceeds from sales are split between Senior Community Centers and Vista Hill Foundation. For more information on location and hours please call 619-291-2415 or visit www.windmillthriftshops.org.
