Wills and Bequests

Adding Senior Community Centers to your will or living trust is one of the easiest ways to make an important difference in the future of the organization. To make a bequest, simply add a brief statement to your will or living trust. (Often an attorney can simply add a codicil to an existing document.)

Your bequest can be designated for a variety of uses:

  • for current operations
  • to ensure funds are available for our programs and services well into the future
  • to support a specific program
  • to be used at the discretion of te Board of Directors
  • as a tribute to a loved one

If you have included Senior Community Centers in your estate plans, please let us know so we can welcome you into our Heritage Circle, a group of like-minded friends who have made a commitment to help seniors in poverty through bequest intentions, or other planned gifts.

We recommend you consult your attorney or tax advisor to ensure the vehicle you select is best suited to your goals and financial situation.
