We are always looking for individuals who have a heart for serving our older adult clients. Persons who are fulfilled by helping others. Currently we are hiring for a weekend receptionist. The rate for this position is $18.00. This is a Part Time position for Saturdays and Sundays only, approximately 16 hr/wk .
Some things you'll get to do:
• Maintains welcoming, positive atmosphere at Front Desk
• Answers all incoming phone lines and refers calls to appropriate staff member or department
• Perform administrative activities including, but not limited to, routine office, clerical and customer service duties
• Provides information assistance to seniors, volunteers, and visitors
• Provides administrative support for the Nutrition Department
• Greets guests in a hospitable and professional manner
• Assigns Serving Seniors badges to volunteers and visitors
Requirements
What you bring to us:
• Associates Degree or some college preferred
• 2 years minimum experience in a customer service setting (preferably with high exposure to older adult population)
• Demonstrated success in a multi-cultural work environment
• Professional appearance
• Strong telephone and customer service skills
• Good problem-solving skills
• Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency, with ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, email, internet, and provide data entry in a timely and efficient manner
