Onsite congregate dining, activities and health and social services have reopened! To-go meals will continue to be available for those individuals who wish to pick up their meals.
COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOL UPDATE: JANUARY 2022
MASKS ARE REQUIRED INDOORS. With the current omicron COVID-19 surge, and in accordance with COVID-19 safety recommendations from the County of San Diego, masks must be worn indoors at all Serving Seniors facilities, regardless of vaccination status. Masks may be temporarily removed while eating and drinking in the dining room.

Serving Seniors’ Gary & Mary West Senior Wellness Center reinvents the concept of a senior center. Open 365 days a year, the Wellness Center provides two floors of coordinated resources, meals, activities, and access to over 25 collaborative partners including the Gary & Mary West Senior Dental Center.
At the Wellness Center you’ll find:
- Breakfast and lunch
- Exercise classes and walking groups
- Educational classes and workshops
- Civic engagement opportunities
- Parties and social activities
- Game room and lounge
- Computers and printers
- Nurses and case managers
- Housing assistance
- Senior dental center
The Wellness Center provides fresh, nutritious meals 365 days a year, completely free of charge (donations accepted). Learn more about our meals here.
DINING ROOM MEAL SCHEDULE
Monday-Friday: 7-8 a.m.
Saturday: 8-9 a.m.
Daily: 11 a.m. & 12:15 p.m.
Bud and Esther’s Cyber Café
The Cyber Café, managed by the Consumer Center for Health Education and Advocacy of the Legal Aid Society of San Diego, is open Monday through Saturday.
Seniors receive computer help as well as assistance with public benefits. Volunteers and student interns assist in café operations.
