What's Happening
We recently received our first endowment gift thanks to the generosity of Bill and Irene Wahsel. Irene, widowed in 2002, passed away late last year leaving a portion of their estate to Senior Community Centers. Nature lovers and conservative spenders, the Wahsel Garden at Potiker Family Senior Residence is a lasting reminder of this couple’s desire to help seniors living in poverty enjoy the simple things in life that we often take for granted.
